Construction start for Polish Egger factory

After receiving the necessary building permit at the end of August, Egger's planned project for building a chipboard plant in Biskupiec/PL is going to be realized.

Austrian wood material producer Egger, St. Johann in Tirol, received a building permit for the planned chipboard production facility in Biskupiec from the Polish government on the 31st of August. This constitutes the last step in the preparations for a new Polish production site and therefore, start of construction can be launched. 

The chipboard plant will be equipped with the latest technology, and the planned production capacity amounts to 650,000 m³/yr. The investment is expected to create 1000 direct and downstream jobs.
