French plywood producer Thebault, Magné, is planning on investments to the amount of € 10 million until the end of 2016. The modernization program comprises electronically monitored trunk centering in Sauzé-Vaussais/FR and Libreville/GA, and in Solférino/FR a dryer of 30 m for Aleppo pine and poplar will be installed - a measure that is expected to boost veneer production by 20,000 m³/yr. An additional 4 MW biomass boiler will be employed for heating the system.

In Sauzé-Vaussais and Solférino, two plywood repair stations with a capacity of 50,000 m³/yr each are planned. The parent plant in Magné will be equipped with a priming device for Okumé and poplar plywood. A briquette press in Sauzé-Baussais will double the company's briquette capacity to 10,000 t/yr.
