Insolvent Kosche Profilummantelung GmbH, Much/DE is taken over by the Häussermann group, Sulzbach an der Murr/DE. Thus, the solid wood specialist intends to expand its product range with profile wrapped components and WPC. Häussermann sees this deal as strategic investment. Kosche, which had filed for insolvency proceedings in ownership on 21 January, will be renamed. The two productions sites of Kosche GmbH Holzwerkstoffe & Co. KG will be locations No. 4 and 5 of the Häussermann group.

It is planned to increase the production in Much, Kosche announced in a press release. The second location in the Hessian town of Mittenaar/DE is not mentioned there. The new owners intend to develop the company to become a leading supplier of battens, panels and "wood in the garden" solutions.

Both partners expect synergies in logistics, purchasing and sales. According to the company's own information, the Häussermann group produces solid wood products for interior and exterior application at three locations with 120 employees. Kosche currently employs 250 staff at two locations.
