The LeopoldQuartier, located in Vienna’s 2nd district, will be Europe’s first large-scale urban neighborhood built using a hybrid timber construction method. Designed by Graz-based architectural firm Gangoly & Kristiner Architekten, it is considered a flagship project for sustainable urban development. The StoVentec R ventilated façade system plays a key role here. This durable solution is high-performance in terms of building physics and was developed by Sto for the timber construction sector.
