Kalesnikoff opened a new production site

On June 5, Canadian group Kalesnikoff Mass Timber officially opened its new production site in Castlegar, British Columbia. In addition to prefabricated wall elements, the company will also produce CLT modules and truss girders there.

The new site will complement Kalesnikoff’s existing CLT and glulam production facility in South Slocan, which is located around 25 km from Castlegar. 100 new jobs will be created thanks to the CAD 30 million investment (€19 million).

“With our growing range of mass timber products and our expertise, we will help our current and future customers meet the need for cost-effective, efficient design and construction to create sustainable, comfortable and climate-resilient homes and buildings,” Kalesnikoff’s COO Chris Kalesnikoff said during the opening ceremony.
