Equipped with state-of-the-art technology from renowned manufacturers and automated production logistics, the factory employs around 100 people. On 20,000 m², timpla manufactures timber modules and construction elements for apartment buildings, hotels and residential homes.

“With our automated production processes, we are setting new standards in efficiency and sustainability. We are particularly pleased to be able to start our first projects in our home region and to help bring about the construction revolution together with strong partners, such as the Eberswalde housing cooperative and the Barnim district,” Roland Kühnel, managing director of timpla, commented.

Timpla’s shareholders are the Swiss timber construction company Renggli, which is based in Schötz, the investment company Saxovent from Berlin/DE, the Sächsische Ärzteversorgung of Dresden, and the Berlin-based real estate developer MQ Real Estate.

Timpla has already secured two projects: the revitalization of large panel system buildings dating back to the GDR and the construction of a refugee shelter.
