Over the coming years, Gropyus plans to invest up to €50 million in the expansion of the production and manufacturing machines to make Richen a fully digitalized “factory of the future”. Central elements of the expansion are the further modernization and automation of the entire plant, especially in the areas of robotics and digitalization. Logistics, storage and pre-production will be expanded as well. In production, Gropyus will invest mainly in the automated manufacture of wall elements and floor panels.

These substantial investments in the Richen site will promote significant growth of production and create new qualified jobs in the region. The company plans to hire more than 100 new employees by 2024.
