DLH sells its hardwood business

Major restructuring under way in Danish wood trading company

After selling its Asia and Africa division to Austrian timber wholesaler J. u. A. Frischeis as of end of October, DLH announced now that it also sold its hardwood business in Denmark to hardwood trading company A/S Global Timber at a book value of DKK 10 million (€ 1.34 million).

The press release also states that the 2013 turnover of the transferred business amounted to DKK 29 million (€ 3.9 million), yet does not reveal the strategic goal of the recent restructuring measures.
