Softwood lumber imports at the lowest level since 2013
Shipments from Germany and Austria nearly halved
In the first half of the year, US softwood lumber imports amounted to 13.7 million m³ and thus dropped to the lowest level in 13 years. Compared to the same period last year, US imports decreased by 2.7 million m³, or 17%.
