With an annual lumber production of around 8 million m³, Canfor is one of the world’s largest wood processing companies. Today, the Canadian group operates 16 production sites in the southeastern United States. Its first greenfield project in this region is located in De Ridder, Louisiana. Canadian company Comact was chosen as the main equipment supplier.
