Especially in times of high raw material prices, companies are feeling the pressure to further increase efficiency in production. The Finnish sawmill Korkeakoski, too, responded to this development. In the summer of 2025, the sawmill, which was acquired by Versowood at the turn of the year, entrusted USNR with the comprehensive modernization of its saw line. To further increase yield, resawing has since been done using two quad bandsaws.
