Japan with stable softwood lumber imports

In the first half of 2025, Japan’s softwood lumber imports remained more or less stable at 1.83 million m³ (-1%). Bigger volumes were imported from Sweden, Finland and Russia, while purchases from Canada and Austria were reduced.
