Last year, Binderholz generated €2.1 billion in sales, which was more than the total achieved by the following three largest companies in the ranking.

In 2023, Binderholz recorded €33 million in earnings before taxes (EBT). This, too, makes it the number one timber company in Austria. Nevertheless, EBT have decreased massively compared to 2022 (€440 million). Despite strong growth and the market weakness in 2023, the company’s equity ratio remained at an above-average level of 45% last year – and was thus 8 percentage points higher than in 2014.
