On September 16, 2-by-4 softwood lumber (Western SPF, KD, #2 & better) cost US-$520/1,000 bft in the US and thus remained constant compared to the week before. This is according to Madison’s Lumber Reporter. Due to a slight change in the euro-dollar exchange rate, European suppliers earned €335/m³ last week, i.e. €1/m³ less than in the previous week.
