A consortium of the banks Erste & Steiermarkische Bank, HPB (Croatian Postbank) and HBOR (Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development) has made it possible to finance the project.

Möhringer supplies the log yard, the cutting technology with the band saw as well as the stacking and sorting technology. “We are glad that the financing of the project is secured again and that we can continue the order, which was interrupted since May 2019, and successfully put the sawmill into operation,” says managing partner Stefan Möhringer.

Last year, Möhringer already assembled and partly started up the stacking and sorting technology (seven vacuum stacking robots, one vertical box sorting) in an existing production hall. As soon as the construction of the new sawmill hall is completed and all work on the foundations is done, the company can continue with the assembly of the log yard and sawmill technology, which consists of three block band saws, three horizontal band saws and one band resaw.
