Price for sawn timber below last year's level

In October, Sweden's lumber price index continued its downswing that started in February. With 106.2% (base 100% = 2015), the index lost another 0.9 points compared to September and -12.1 points year-on-year.

However, looking at the comparison periods of 2017 and 2016, the value gained 6.8 and 4 points respectively. Data surveyed by Statistics Sweden.
