As biggest lumber exporter, Austria approximated last year's level with 850,000 m³ but still sold 13,350 m³ (-1.5%) less than in 2018.
With a total of 94,000 m³ (-6.4%), Ukrainian deliveries until May saw yet another decline. Czech deliveries, on the other hand, saw a significant increase of +22% compared to the previous year (total: 85,700 m³), compared to the first three months, however, Eurostat data indicate a decline by 1%.
