US softwood lumber price again gained ground last week

Another strong increase was registered last week for US softwood lumber prices. For 2-by-4, the price level gained US-$15 totaling US-$460/1000 bft.

At an unchanged exchange rate of US-$1.14/€, European exporters received €261/m³ which is more than €8/m³ more than in the previous week. In other words, this assortment gained more than €40/m³ over the past four weeks.
