Price for US softwood lumber increased slightly

At the beginning of the year, the price for US softwood lumber (free Great Lakes region) reached US-$401/1000 bft.

Compared to the first calendar week of 2018, the value lost US-$135/1000 bft. In comparison to the previous week, the price saw an increase by US-$1/1000 bft, as Random Lengths informs. European suppliers yielded €227/m³ (exchange rate: US-$1.14/€) which is €61/m³ less than in the same period last year.
