Canfor is reducing production

The world's biggest sawmill group Canfor Corporation from Vancouver/CA announced today a reduction of its production volume in British Columbia until the end of the year.

Canfor is planning on reducing lumber production in the 4Q by roughly 10%. The reasons for this measure, according to the group, are roundwood supply bottlenecks, wood costs and the current market situation.
