Unstoppable upward trend for lumber price

For one year already, prices for lumber and planed goods have been rapidly climbing. Even though the immense increase in spring could not be maintained in July, the graph keeps shooting up.

In the previous years, the summer months meant a price slump. With an almost 20 points higher level, this is not the case this year as data by Statistic Sweden indicate.
