US-$640 are US-$10 more than the "previous all-time high" that only lasted one week. At an exchange rate of US-$1.2/€, European exporters currently receive €344.4/m³, which is €54/m³ more than previous year. Compared to the price level of eleven years ago, the price for 2-by-4 even doubled. The annual maximum price has been increasing steadily since (see diagram).
