The US group stepped up 2017 profits by 40% to US$582m.

For the 2017 financial year, Seattle-based forest products company Weyerhaeuser reported US$582m (€475m) of earnings from operating activities. Thus, this value increased by 40% compared to 2016. Group sales increased by 13% to US$6.37bn (€5.2 bn), while adjusted EBITDA went up by more than 30% to US$2.08bn (€1.7bn).
