In early June, the sawmill Novo Eniseisk LPK/RU, of the same name as the Siberian town, has made a contract with Springer Maschinenfabrik, Friesach/AT, about the delivery of a log sorting system and a lumber pre-sorting system.
With a capacity of 500,000 sm³/yr, the factory will become one of the largest sawmills in Russia. The log sorting system handles 1.1 million sm³/yr at the maximum speed of 200 m/min using the screw technology. The lumber-sorting system has a capacity of 200 paces/min and is equipped with an automatic bar manipulation.
"This agreement confirms that we are on the right path with our consistent market presence in Russia," explains Timo Spinger in a press release. The construction work will start at year-end and will be completed in summer 2016.
