"We have decided to take over DLH Asia and Africa, as we do see growth potential there for one thing. In addition, these markets are an excellent fit for our plans to expand the international scope of JAF. So far, our global sales expertise lay mainly in veneer and sawn timber – specifically hardwood. Now more product groups are to follow", says CEO Alexander Flatischler. He adds: "We see the integration of the DLH-sales regions China, Vietnam and Cameroon in our company as a great opportunity. Our customers will benefit from the global network that is ours to access after this transaction. DLH customers in these markets now have the advantage of being able to rely on decades of know-how, strong logistics and high-profile contacts of a market leader in Central and Eastern Europe. We operate representations on the spot regionally and are thus well informed about market conditions. Internationally, we now have direct access to the best procurement markets and benefit from the experience and opportunities of a global group."
