In its judgment of July 28, 2026, the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) overturned the decision of the Higher Regional Court (OLG) of Stuttgart in the damages proceedings concerning the marketing of softwood logs across different types of forest ownership (log wood cartel case) and referred the case back to that court.
