According to the price lists published annually by HR šume, prices for veneer-grade pedunculate oak rose to €466.7/m³ ex forest road for logs with diameters of 40 to 49 cm and to €1,053.7/m³ for logs with diameters of more than 70 cm. In 2025, veneer logs with diameters of up to 49 cm cost €372/m³, and €840/m³ were paid for diameters exceeding 70 cm. Prices for grade II oak veneer logs range from €400.3/m³ (40 to 49 cm) to €620.8/m³ (60 cm+). In 2025, the price range was €319 to €495/m³. Grade I pedunculate oak sawlogs (30 cm to 50 cm+) now cost between €217 and €384/m³ (2025: €176 to €311.4/m³). Grade II prices range from €145.7 to €243.5/m³.
In the 2026 contracts, prices for sessile oak reach peaks of €758.5/m³ (2025: €604.7/m³) for grade I veneer and of €490.5/m³ (2025: €391/m³) for grade II veneer. For grade I sawlogs (50 cm+), peak prices of €310.4/m³ can be found (2025: €252/m³).
Prices for beech veneer logs were raised more than those for oak. Beech veneer logs now fetch prices of €152 to €202.5/m³. in 2025, prices ranged from €118 to €156.5/m³. HR šume quotes prices of €70.7 to €106/m³ for grade I beech sawlogs, compared to €57 to €85.6/m³ last year.
Sawmills are paying €90 to €134/m³ for grade I spruce sawlogs. Prices for grade II range from €74.5 to €111/m³. Grade III sawlogs cost between €52.6 and €78.5/m³.
