No need for price increases

The sawmill industry mobilized log wood with its price increases in the fourth quarter; independent price initiatives by industrial wood processing companies were not necessary. At the beginning of October, Austrian buyers of industrial log wood almost shrugged when asked about price changes for industrial softwood logs.
