Austria bought 1.8 million m³ of softwood logs from Germany, which corresponds to a 9% increase compared to the first nine months of 2020 (1.6 million m³). Belgium is in third place of Germany’s export markets with 761,000 m³ and a year-on-year rise of 15% (900,000 m³).

Substantial increases were recorded in softwood log shipments to Estonia (+1081% to 200,000 m³) and Romania (+507% to 131,000 m³).
