For spruce trunk wood, Destatis registered an August value of 80.4% (base: 2010=100%). Compared to July, this is a decline of 3.9 percentage points. Spruce cuttings, B, reached 82.1% in August (-1.2 percentage points compared to July). Both assortments have lost almost 18 points since the beginning of the year.

As for hardwood assortments, Destatis reports a decline, as well. Oak trunk wood arrived at 138.1% (-5 points compared to July), beech trunk wood at 117.4% (-2.1 points). This means that the decline for oak trunk wood with -5.1 percentage point was greater than for beech trunk wood (-3.5 points).
