Incredible! Destatis figures indicate that China imported 220,000 sm³ of round spruce softwood until the beginning of March. With this, 30,000 sm³ more went to the country 5000 km from Germany than for instance to neighbor Austria in the first two months.

Austria imported 188,000 sm³ which is 36% less than during the same period last year. Almost sextupled was the volume going to Belgium: 126,000 sm³.

All other countries together received 177,000 sm³ which is 58% more.
