Three countries received around 100,000 sm³ from Germany in January: Austria, Belgium and China. While Austria drastically reduced imports by -21% (totaling 110,000 sm³), Belgium made an impressive leap forward: from 13,000 sm³ last January to 105,000 sm³ this year. In other words, a growth rate of almost 700%.
But China's jump was even bigger: from importing effectively nothing the country purchased 105,000 sm³ in January. A traveling distance of more than 10,000 km by sea are between supplier and customer in this case. This makes China a top 3 import country.
