Swedish forestry department "Skogsstyrelsen" collected data indicating that pulpwood showed different developments depending on the harvest area. While prices in the Northern regions increased by 3%, they gained 6% in in Central Sweden and 2% in Southern Sweden.

The somewhat lower price increase for sawlogs is mainly due to the situation in Central Sweden, where the price advance was only 1%.

Compared to the same period last year, pulpwood prices rose 12%, and those for sawlogs 7%.
