Swiss pellet price back at the February level

In December the pellet price for end consumers was CHF 478/t (€510/t) in Switzerland and thus at the same level as in the first quarter.

Compared to November (CHF 464/t or €495/t), the average pellet price in Switzerland has increased by 3%, or CHF 14/t. In December 2024, buyers paid on average CHF 444/t (€473/t), as pelletpreis.ch reports. This represents an increase of 8%.

The highest price of the year, i.e. CHF 479/t, was reached in February, closely followed by March with a price of CHF 478/t. In January, buyers paid CHF 457/t (€488/t).

For a commercial purchase quantity of 17 t, pelletpreis.ch lists a price of CHF 444/t (€474/t) in December. Month on month, a 3% increase was recorded (November 2025: CHF 431/t or €459/t). Here, too, the price peak, i.e. CHF 446/t was reached in February.
