Compared with a month ago, neutralized pellets prices (without VAT and shipping costs) inched higher in December – in Austria (€ 185.33/t, +0.3%), in Germany (€ 174.3/t, +1%) and in Switzerland (€ 221.9/t, +1%).

Year-over-year, prices rose only in Switzerland (+1%). In Austria they dropped by 6.9%, in Germany by even 11.3%.

When taking into account the average price ratio of the franc over the past decade, however, the Swiss pellets price with € 178.7/t (+0.8% over last month) still lies between those registered in Austria and Germany.
