Mass timber sales are experiencing only a dent

According to Matthias Friedrich, the new head of Stora Enso’s Business Unit South, a recovery of the mass timber industry is imminent despite the difficult market situation. In the short term, however, he anticipates stabilization at a low level. The strategic review of the seven southern production sites is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
