Following investigations that uncovered false FSC claims, unreported transactions and other irregularities, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has blocked more Chinese companies from the FSC system for violations in the trade of birch plywood. This decision was based on evidence gathered during the birch plywood transaction verification (TV) loop launched in 2023.
