Companies feel margins tightening
Log supply secured – price increases for finished products fail due to the weather-subdued market
In February, the sales indicator rose slightly by 0.8 percentage points to 106.5%. This is the highest level since late autumn 2022. Compared to February 2025, the sales indicator gained 8.1 percentage points. Nevertheless, the situation remains difficult for the timber industry. Log prices have risen sharply and are now 23% higher than last year and even 30% higher than they were at the end of 2022.
