The subsidies identified are to be offset by countervailing duties, according to trade.gov. The ministry calculated provisional countervailing duties of 81.34% on imports from China, 2.4 to 128.66% on imports from Indonesia and 4.37% to 26.75% on imports from Vietnam. According to the trade.gov, these tariffs will be added to the existing tariffs on products from these countries. They will take effect as soon as the decision is published in the Federal Register. The countervailing duties may apply retroactively from the date of the start of publication.
