From January to October, Austria exported 1.66 million m³ of laminated timber, i.e. 2% more than in the same period in 2024, according to data published by Statistik Austria. At 607,000 m³, glulam and CLT exports to Italy remained unchanged compared to the first ten months of 2024.
Much bigger volumes of laminated timber were exported to Germany (+6% to 352,000 m³), Switzerland (+10% to 145,000 m³), Spain (+18% to 101,000 m³), Slovenia (+21% to 20,000 m³) and the US (+56% to almost 19,000 m³). Meanwhile, double-digit decreases were recorded in deliveries to France (-11% to 103,000 m³) and Japan (-19% to 69,000 m³).
