West Fraser to buy OSB mill

West Fraser of Toronto/CA is going to acquire an OSB mill from Georgia Pacific of Atlanta/US.

The oriented strand board mill is located near Allendale, South Carolina/US, and has been idle since late 2019. The facility is to be sold for US-$280 million (€241 million), and West Fraser plans to invest an additional US-$70 million (€60 million) in the modernization of it.
