Swiss afforestation and management company ShareWood, Zurich, has recently started producing glulam panels in its own factory in Brazil. On the 12,000 m² site in the industrial area Cuiabá, also panels made of teakwood and veneer products, furniture, doors, flooring, decking, wooden profile boards, roofs and outer cladding are manufatured. With that range the company mainly supplies the Brazilian domestic market.
For ShareWood opening the glulam panel factory heralds a new era. The company thus enters into the field of the production and wood processing industry. In the coming years, the factory in Cuiabá will be continuously expanded, company sources say.
