When the saws first started turning at the Enfield site, the sawmill had already had an unusual history: Machines that had never been in regular operation at this site, incomplete commissioning, and an environment shaped by the Covid pandemic. For Binderholz, the acquisition was far more than a classic expansion step. Rather, it was the structured reconstruction of an industrial site under challenging conditions. Today, the sawmill site is fully operational.
