Beech lumber exports 2025: increases in Asia, decreases in North America

In 2025, German exports of beech lumber (incl. planed timber) decreased by 1.5% year on year to 379,500 m³. Increases were achieved in shipments to China, Vietnam and India, while smaller volumes were exported to the USA and Mexico.
