On September 29, Versowood announced the acquisition of the UPM’s Korkeakoski sawmill, which is located around 200 km north of Helsinki. This will increase the company’s lumber capacity by 350,000 m³ a year. As part of the acquisition, the companies have entered into a long-term cooperation regarding wood supply.
