Stable lumber price index

In December 2024, the Swedish lumber price index remained constant compared to November. Year on year, there was a marked increase.

Statistics Sweden reports a lumber price index of 144% fort he month of December 2024 (base: 2020 = 100%). Compared to November (143.5%), there was little change in the index value.

Year on year, on the other hand, the price index rose sharply. In December 2023, it was still at 124% and has thus increased by 20 percentage points within one year.
