Export volumes to China, the most important foreign market, increased by 28% to 73,000 m³, while those to the US grew by 12% and totaled 35,000 m³. A clear upward trend can also be observed in beech lumber exports to Poland (23,000 m³; +29%), Mexico (17,000 m³; +38%), France (10,000 m³; +10%), Vietnam (9,000 m³; +212%) and the United Arab Emirates (7,000 m³; +33%). Decreases, on the other hand, were recorded in shipments to India (9,000 m³; -10%), Morocco (7,000 m³; -15) and Italy (7,000 m³; -13%).
