At the beginning of October, Binderholz, Fügen, announced the takeover of one of the largest German timber industries: the Klenk Holz AG, Oberrot/DE. Now it's official: The German Federal Cartel Office as well as the Austrian Federal Competition Authority together with the Federal Cartel Prosecutor authorized the merger.
From this, the second-highest grossing timber industry, the largest laminated timber producer, and the second-largest sawmill group in Europe emerges.
