Springer and Microtec to open sales office in Vancouver

Springer Maschinenfabrik, Friesach/AT, and Microtec, Brixen/IT, intend to open a new sales and service office in Vancouver/CA. The kick-off will occur next week at the TPEE Trade Fair in Portland/US. "We are proud to say that we are supplying the North American market with a wide range of products – from mechanical equipment to automation to scanning and optimization systems", says co-owner and CEO Gero Springer.

The team of Springer Microtec Inc. at the new Canadian office consists of engineers with ample experience on the North American market, a company contact says. Together with Microtec CEO Federico Giudiceandrea, Gero Springer will manage the new office. "Our goal is to garner the greatest possible interest in our products and services in North America", says Springer. In North America, the two companies already have a long reference list of over 20 lumber and log scanners up and running. Two complete sawmills and a log yard are currently being installed.
