Interest in oak logs has increased during the 2025/2026 hardwood season. This is evident at high-value timber auctions and in private sales involving freely formulated agreements negotiated by the respective contracting parties. Domestic sawmills, in particular, are trying to secure volumes. At the start of the season, buyers were still hesitant. Now, additional volumes are accepted if available.
